Hi and welcome to the 34th Precinct's Vice Unit page. The vice unit was established in an effort to improve quality of life conditions within our communities with the help of plain-clothed Auxiliary Police Officers. These officers are trained by the Queensboro Vice Squad in Kew Gardens, NY to perform undercover operations alongside NYPD vice detectives and uniformed officers. Their duties include but are not limited to the illegal distribution of alcohol, tobacco, and illegal party investigations. Our officers involved will not be named or photographed for use on this site for safety reasons. However upon joining the auxiliary police program, officers under the age of 20 1/2 years of age are given the opportunity to join the program.
